I’m Ahmet Alphan Sabancı, a critical futurist, writer and researcher based in Turkey. I’m focused on critical and creative futures and foresight; mainly on technology, media, society and culture.

Currently I’m mainly focused on Tuhaf Studio, my independent futures and foresight studio. Alongside with this website, I regularly publish things on my Turkish-only futures research notebook Tuhaf Gelecek.

I have several published books both as a translator and a contributor, provide trainings and mentorship for journalists on technology, security and strategy, and work as an independent futures researcher, strategist and consultant.
